About Us
Scott Rexwinkle
Scott is our Chief sUAS operator and CEO. He is a certificated Private Pilot, Airframe & Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization, and a Part 107 sUAS remote operator. He has 19 years aviation experience and 16 years aviation accident reconstruction experience, including photography and accident scene and wreckage documentation. Scott holds a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Science specializing in Aviation and Aerospace Safety.
Our Equipment
Sierra Aero Recon currently utilizes the DJI Mavic 2 Pro as our imaging platform. This very capable sUAS is able to complete missions up to 31 minutes in duration. Additional equipment allows us to switch out batteries to increase flight time to meet mission needs. The Mavic 2 Pro is equipped with a powerful Hasselblad L1D-20c 20MP camera with a 1 inch sensor.
